25-03: Extension to direct delivery from off-site storage

Liquor Update:

This change applies to the following licences:

  • Liquor manufacturers with an on-site store endorsement

What’s changing

The Liquor and Cannabis Regulation Branch amended the Manufacturer licence terms and conditions to extend the authorization for B.C. manufacturers to deliver directly to retail customers from their on-site store or registered off-site storage facilities up to and including June 30, 2027.

Manufacturers can temporarily deliver directly to retail customers using their own employees or a third-party delivery service.

Helpful information

Retail customers mean the public who purchase products from a manufacturer’s on-site store for personal consumption and does not include licensees.

This temporary measure does not authorize liquor manufacturers to sell liquor from their off-site storage locations. Customers must complete transactions through a licensee’s on-site store, online, or by telephone – they will not be able to physically purchase products at off-site storage locations.
