NAVIGATING THE LCRB ENFORCEMENT PROCESS
The Liquor and Cannabis Regulation Branch (LCRB) enforcement process has a variety of ways to effect compliance. Depending on the type of contravention identified and your enforcement record, the Branch will determine a course of action.
The LCRB website describes the compliance and enforcement process and has links to a variety of other resources. Should inspectors or police identify a concern, you may be issued a contravention notice. If the Branch decides to proceed with enforcement action you will receive a Notice of Enforcement Action. The licensee is then required to make a decision. You may sign a waiver accepting the penalty or dispute the offence, the penalty or both.
